Congratulations Class of 2020!
Congratulations Class of 2020! While the school year did not end the way anyone had envisioned, and I know how sad it has been for you all missing out on many of our traditional end of the year events, I did want to tell you how proud I continue to be of this class. You have shown tremendous resiliency and spirit during this crisis. Early during the school closure, I reminded you that at Washingtonville, we rally around each other and support each other during difficult times. That is exactly what you have done.
This pandemic may have taken our last three months together, but it cannot take away 4 years of memories, accomplishments, friendships and pride. It has been my pleasure to watch you grow into the confident, inspired and talented young adults you have become.
I wish you luck and continued success, but more than that, I wish you happiness, because success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success.
